Partnerships

Partnerships represent partners with whom NRC implements projects. Cycles has two options for creating a new "partnership" depending on whether the relationship is "Lateral partner/Consortium member" or a "Downstream partner".

Create a new partnership

Select a record and choose "Partnerships" subtab. Then click the "New" button.

Choose whether you are creating a Downstream partner or a Lateral partner/Consortium member and click "Next".

Fill out the following fields. Click "Save".

NOTE: You will be prompted to select from a list of existing organizations. If you would like to create a new partner organization to associate with a record, follow the steps in the Organisations section.

View an existing partnership

Partners can be viewed by from an organization (which allows you to see how many projects a partner organisation is a partner to) and from the records (which allows you to see all the partners involved on a particular project).

To view partnerships from an organization:

Select an organization from an "Organizations" tab. Navigate to the Partnerships subtab. Here you will see the list of all records where this organisation is a Downstream partner or Lateral partner/Consortium member. You can also indicate if the organisation is the grant holder for that record.

To view partnerships from a record:

Select a record from a ">Grants<" tab. Navigate to the Partnerships subtab. Here you will see the list of all organisations that are a Downstream partner or a Lateral partner/Consortium member for this record. You can also see which organisation is the grant holder for that record.
