Contract

Contracts are a >grants< type that allow NRC to capture information related to the Implementation Phase.

Contracts are automatically created when the “Award Agreement Signed?” box is checked and the NRC Award Code is populated on a proposal OR when the “Proposal Submission Outcome” is set to NRC Preliminary Guarantee and the NRC Award Code field is populated.

View and edit an existing contract

Go to >Grants< tab and choose "Contracts" from the dropdown. Then select the desired record.

The subtab's data will have carried over from the proposal stage. To fill out the contract details, click the "Edit" button at the top right of the page.

Enter the title of the contract and the type, as well as the contract start date and contract end date (original).

Several fields (such as the name, donor, donor agreement number, donor currency, and project description) will be carried over from the Proposal that created this contract.

Throughout a contract’s life, if a contract has any amendments, the user will fill out the following fields (as applicable):

  • Amended budget amount;
  • Amended end date;
  • Has this contract had any amendments?
  • Amendment information.

To view implementation information about a project, or multiple projects that a contract supports, click on the Projects subtab. Here, you will see all projects associated with this contract.
