After the project concept or proposal is approved and signed, the project is implemented; this includes operational planning, project reviews, and adaptation. Monitoring plays an essential part.

The main PCM activities of Implementation Phase include:

* Development of detailed work plan and procurement plan

* Grants opening meeting

* Monitoring

* Progress Review Meetings for comparison of the work plan, logframe, and budget against progress.
